CBCF is proud to launch a partnership with LANYU Co.. As a first step, we sponsored three Chinese fashion students to attend the Summer ESL and Fashion Business Program at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York.

LANYU Co. was founded in Beijing in 2005 by designer Lanyu. She is known for applying traditional Chinese embroidery techniques to her designs. For the past 3 years, Lanyu has been presenting her haute couture line in Paris to rave reviews. Her namesake label has been endorsed by many Chinese celebrities. A graduate from the Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology, Lanyu was also trained in New York and Paris. With the new scholarship program, she aims to help more Chinese fashion talents to gain global views about fashion design and business operation.

CBCF’s partnership with LANYU Co. is in line with our mission to foster more creative talents. Following the Summer ESL and Fashion Business Program Scholarship at FIT, we are going to introduce a graduate-level fellowship in 2017.
