On March 8, 2019, International Women’s Day, Yue-Sai Kan was invited to attend the Bulgari Avrora Awards as an award presenter. The Awards, which were created to recognize outstanding and inspiring women who embody ultimate femininity, were given to seven leading female characters in China who represent the power of Chinese women.
The 7 awardees are modern dancer Duan Ni, Power Station of Art director Gong Yan, up-and-coming film director Mai Zi, modern pianist Rosey Chan, Pingyao International Film Festival CEO Liang Jiayan, woman’s volleyball world champion Hui Ruoqi and designer/artist Della Chuang.
